aahh, newborns….
what a special time in your life! I would feel honoured to be able to photograph your family and your baby.
I love the details, the squishiness, sleepiness & cuddliness of a newborn. I enjoy photographing them so much.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you can not find the answer you are looking for below, please get in touch using our contact page.
When is the best time to hold a newborn session? The majority of newborns you see in my work are between 5-12 days old. Every baby is different though so it is best to contact me directly to check. That said, i can take beautiful portraits of your baby at any age - however if they are awake the entire session this will limit the variety of poses we can achieve with your child, as i will never put them in a position where they have the potential to hurt themselves.
When is the best time to book my session? To avoid disappointment, the ideal time to book your newborn portraits is while you are still pregnant. Session times tend to book out a few weeks in advance and although i do try and keep emergency sessions - i can not guarantee that i will be able to fit your child in for a newborn session if you contact me when they are already 1-3 weeks old requesting a session time. Session bookings can be secured with a 50% deposit, and due to babies arrival dates being somewhat of a mystery, the actual session date would then be confirmed once you child has arrived safely.
Can my partner/other children/parents come and participate in the session?Yes of course! This is an exciting time for your enitre family & I always set aside time in a session for partners, siblings and grandparents to have their own portraits with your baby.
What props and items do you have? The following items are available for use. You are also encouraged to use any sentimental items that you would possibly like incorporated in the session images.
• Wraps in a wide variety of colours & textures
• Backdrop blankets in many colors, hues & textures
Wood Bed, Wooden antique Crate
• Fur rugs
• Baskets, buckets, bowls & various other props
• Headbands, & halo’s
• Knit hats, baby bonnets
• Many more props - put in a request & see what we can do!
